Job Description
Job Overview:
The Fleet Controller oversees the daily operations of a vehicle fleet, ensuring efficient and timely haulage services for clients, with a focus on managing all aspects of fleet management and delivering services in industries such as cold chain logistics and for clients like Nigerian Breweries.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Planning routes, overseeing fleet coordination, maintaining records, fuel monitoring, safety and maintenance, maximizing revenue through order fulfillment, ensuring loading orders are met, monitoring service mileage, ensuring compliance with speed limits, conducting toolbox meetings, liaising with clients, inspecting trucks, documenting incidents, managing fleet capacity, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
BSC or HND in Sciences or any Social Science not below Second Class lower / Lower credit. Certified in Logistics, Transportation & Distribution (CLTD). Certified in Transportation & Logistics (CILT). Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
Educational Background:
BSC or HND in Sciences or any Social Science not below Second Class lower / Lower credit.
Experience:
Minimum 2-5 years’ relevant experience in supply chain, 3PL management, transport & logistics operations, and fleet management.
Languages:
English
