Job Overview: Multichem Nigeria, now part of the Solevo Group, is a well-established distributor of specialty chemicals and raw materials across diverse industries. We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and technically competent Sales & Business Development Manager – HHPC to drive the growth and development of our Home Care, Industrial & Institutional and Personal Care solutions / specialty business line in Nigeria.
Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct detailed assessments of customer needs, competitive dynamics, and regulatory requirements across home and personal care segments. Design and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans for our HHPC portfolio, driving product adoption and market penetration through strategic commercial initiatives. Identify, win and grow strategic accounts, building robust relationships to expand market share across various customer segments and distribution channels. Provide high-level technical guidance and product expertise to support the sales process, ensuring customers and partners maximize the value of our chemical solutions. Partner with the marketing team to align commercial objectives with promotional strategies; coordinate with supply-chain and operations to ensure flawless delivery. Represent Multichem at trade shows, professional forums and client events to showcase HHPC innovations and build brand recognition.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field. Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical sales, business development or key-account management within Home Care, Institutional & Industrial Cleaning or Personal Care sectors. Strong expertise in formulation and application of home care, detergents, laundry and personal care chemistries. Well-established network within Nigeria’s HHPC industries.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical sales, business development or key-account management within Home Care, Institutional & Industrial Cleaning or Personal Care sectors.
Languages: English
Additional Notes: Experience managing Key Accounts and coordinating Local Champion initiatives. Background with major specialty-chemicals or industrial-formulator companies. Certifications or formal training in cleaning-chemistry applications, ISO quality systems, or regulatory compliance (e.g., NAFDAC processes).
