Job Overview: Provide senior level financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and quantitative and qualitative analysis. Oversee controls and accounting of financial transactions and preparation of financial statements.
Duties and Responsibilities: Embody the SLPC’s equity, diversity and inclusion principles while interacting with staff and guests. Provide controllership expertise for the development, implementation, and ongoing update of financial models, reports, reconciliations, processes and procedures relating to all finance activities at the SLPC. Undertake a leadership role in providing professional level financial analysis advice to stakeholders. Assist the Accounts Receivable team and perform other administrative duties as required.
Required Qualifications: Expert knowledge of theories, principles and practices of professional accounting acquired through training as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) or enrollment in the program, together with progressively more responsible experience in the accounting field. Demonstrated experience with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and modern controllership practices and of financial decision-making processes.
