Job Overview: 247bet is a licensed social betting platform building the next generation of sports betting experiences. We're in a pre-launch sprint targeting August 2026, powered by a modern stack: C#/.NET, React/Next.js, React Native, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Temporal and AWS/EKS.
Duties and Responsibilities: Design and maintain high-performance microservices using C#/.NET 8+ on AWS/EKS, build and optimise real-time betting engines, integrate third-party sports data feeds, implement Kafka-based event-driven architectures, design PostgreSQL schemas and Redis caching strategies, collaborate with frontend engineers, contribute to platform reliability, ensure compliance with NLRC, AML/KYC, and responsible gambling frameworks, participate in architecture reviews and mentoring.
Required Qualifications: 4+ years of professional C#/.NET backend development, experience building real-time, high-throughput systems, strong microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, and cloud experience, solid experience with Kafka or similar message brokers, deep PostgreSQL knowledge and Redis, experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies, familiarity with sports data feeds is a strong plus, understanding of Nigerian gaming regulations or willingness to learn.

Additional Notes: Based in Lagos or willing to be present in Yaba office 3 days per week.
