Job Overview: The Grants Manager will provide grant management, business development and reporting support across the Nigeria portfolio, ensuring quality management of both pre and post award grants functions.
Duties and Responsibilities: Act as custodian of documentation, maintain comprehensive electronic files, liaise with donors, respond to compliance questions, develop external communication materials, maintain knowledge of donor guidelines, provide training on compliance, monitor grants for compliance issues, coordinate development of proposals and reports, support program staff in assessing funding opportunities, manage reporting deadlines, and contribute to Project Cycle Meetings.
Required Qualifications: Knowledge of donor compliance regulations, proven experience in developing projects, strong organizational and analytical skills, strong writing and editing skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
Educational Background: Bachelors degree or equivalent in international affairs, development, international political economy or other relevant subject
Experience: 2-3 years working in grants management and proposal/business development/design.
Languages: Fluency in English, spoken and written.
Additional Notes: Willingness to travel when required.
