Surveyor

Job Overview:
As the Surveyor at Brit Properties Nigeria Limited, you are responsible for measuring, mapping, and analyzing land and property boundaries to support construction, land acquisition, and development projects. The role ensures accuracy in spatial data, compliance with legal requirements, and proper documentation for all surveying activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct field surveys to determine land boundaries, topography, and site features using appropriate tools and equipment. Collect and record accurate geospatial data for use in planning, design, and construction. Establish and verify property boundaries in accordance with legal documents and survey standards. Produce detailed survey reports, maps, and drawings for internal use and regulatory submission. Operate surveying instruments such as GPS systems, total stations, levels, and drones where applicable. Analyze survey data to support engineering, architectural, and real estate decisions. Ensure all surveying activities comply with local regulations and industry standards. Work closely with engineers, architects, project managers, and government agencies. Conduct periodic inspections and monitoring of project sites to ensure alignment with approved plans. Identify potential issues such as encroachments, boundary disputes, or land irregularities. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all survey data, reports, and documentation. Follow safety protocols during field operations.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience

Educational Background:
Minimum of a BSc.
