Job Overview:
Our client, which produces and markets Aluminum and Glass systems in Nigeria, is seeking a strategic CFO to lead their financial transformation. The Head of Finance is responsible for building the finance function from the ground up - this is a hands-on leadership role combining strategic finance with operational execution.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting; Build and develop a finance team from 3 to 8 people; Establish financial controls, SOPs, and reporting infrastructure; Manage banking relationships (performance bonds, guarantees, credit facilities); Advise MD/Board on pricing, investments, and growth decisions; Drive monthly financial reviews; Lead Odoo ERP implementation (currently in progress); Manage financial oversight of 10-20 concurrent installation projects (₦100M-₦1.5B each); Handle advance payment structures (40-80%), WIP accounting, milestone billing; Implement percentage-of-completion revenue recognition (IFRS 15); Track and report project profitability in real-time; Ensure tax and regulatory compliance (FIRS, CAC, audits).

Required Qualifications:
10+ years progressive finance experience; 5+ years in a senior finance leadership role; ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA (mandatory); Project-based business experience (construction, EPC, installation); Understanding of advance payment structures and retention accounting; Experience building finance functions from scratch; ERP implementation experience (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or Odoo - strong advantage); Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; Lagos-based or willing to relocate; Manufacturing cost accounting experience; Standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory optimization.
