Job Overview: Our client in the publishing industry is looking for Head of Marketing & Sales that will be responsible for driving national brand strategy and revenue growth. This role combines high-level strategic marketing leadership with direct oversight of sales execution.
Duties and Responsibilities: Strategic Marketing & Revenue Growth. Conduct comprehensive market research to assess sales scope and identify optimal service models. Identify and develop new revenue streams to enable year-round sales. Develop and implement integrated marketing and sales strategies. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to maintain competitive advantage. Sales Leadership & Target Management. Set individual and team sales targets aligned with revenue goals. Oversee sales performance and ensure consistent achievement of targets. Develop structured sales tracking and reporting systems. Implement expense controls and revenue forecasting models. Brand Management. Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels. Strengthen national brand visibility and positioning. Coordinate promotional campaigns and partnerships. Team Development. Lead, train, and retrain marketing and sales teams. Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability and excellence. Manage diverse teams across different states.
Required Qualifications: MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in integrated sales and marketing strategy implementation. Proven track record of managing high-performing sales teams. Strong statistical, analytical, and forecasting skills. Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination abilities.
