Job Description
Job Overview:
To provide clear financial insight, planning, and performance analysis that supports informed decision-making, aligns funding strategies with business objectives, and enables efficient capital raising while maintaining overall financial discipline and accountability across the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the Manager in evaluating funding options across debt and capital markets by providing financial analysis, forecasts, and scenario modelling. Develop funding plans that align with projected cash flows, business performance, and risk considerations. Provide analytical support for refinancing decisions, including cost of funds analysis and impact on overall financial performance. Support engagement with lenders and key stakeholders by providing accurate financial analysis, covenant tracking, and performance insights. Prepare and monitor cash flow projections to ensure alignment with funding obligations and support lender discussions. Track and report on financial covenants, ensuring early identification of potential breaches and recommending mitigating actions. Provide timely and consistent financial information to support stakeholder reporting requirements and maintain transparency throughout the funding lifecycle. Negotiate key terms such as pricing, tenor, covenants, and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security structures. Ensure funding terms are commercially viable and aligned with the company’s financial position. Balance cost, flexibility, and risk in all financing arrangements. Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, and Legal teams to ensure the timely collection and submission of financial data for compliance reporting. Facilitate discussions between internal stakeholders to address covenant-related concerns and ensure alignment on reporting requirements. Support negotiations with lenders by providing accurate covenant compliance data and insights.

Required Qualifications:
HND/B.Sc in Accounting, Economics, Banking & Finance, or any other related field in data analysis or finance. Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA or CFA (added advantage). Computer literacy and advance user of excel is a must.

Educational Background:
HND/B.Sc in Accounting, Economics, Banking & Finance, or any other related field in data analysis or finance

Experience:
Minimum of 4 to 5 years of working experience in corporate finance and/or DFI financial covenant tracking

Languages:
English

Additional Notes:
Sound knowledge of the Nigerian Accounting Standard & IFRS.
