Job Overview: We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Technical Sales & Service Engineer to drive sales growth while delivering top-tier technical support and engineering services. This role combines client engagement, sales execution, and hands-on technical expertise.
Duties and Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development: Develop and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their technical needs, generate sales inquiries and respond to RFQs and client requests, identify new business opportunities and follow up on leads and referrals, promote company products through emails, cold calls, and client visits, work closely with the sales team and technical experts to deliver tailored solutions. Client Support & Documentation: Provide pre-sales and after-sales technical support and product education, prepare proposals, quotations, invoices, purchase orders, and sales contracts, follow up on quotations, technical specifications, and payments, develop and manage sales/marketing materials and website content, report effectively to line managers and supervisors. Technical Service & Engineering: Install, configure, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot field & process instruments, analytical & detection instruments, laboratory & quality control equipment, PLCs, drives, and industrial automation systems, perform diagnostics and reliability testing on electrical & mechanical systems, interpret wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and specifications. Compliance & Coordination: Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and quality standards, liaise with clients, suppliers, contractors, and relevant authorities, maintain accurate records and prepare reports, support sister companies (Assetmatrix Energy Services Ltd & Etcon Analytical & Environmental Systems Ltd), carry out any other assigned duties.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or related field)
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or related field)
Experience: Experience in technical sales and/or service engineering
Languages: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Additional Notes: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, willingness to travel, any other relevant experience or related skill set will be an added advantage.
