Job Overview:
The Data / Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for transforming complex, multi-source data into actionable insights that drive strategic and operational decision-making across the organization, particularly within the insurance industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Data Analysis & Modelling: Collect, analyze, and interpret large, complex datasets from multiple sources; Identify trends, correlations, and patterns; Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data models; Ensure data accuracy and integrity. 2. Business Intelligence Development: Design, develop, and deploy dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau; Provide real-time visibility into key business metrics; Enhance reporting tools. 3. Data Engineering & Process Optimization: Develop data cleansing and transformation processes; Improve data workflows; Identify operational improvements. 4. Reporting & Analytics Framework: Manage a centralized reporting structure; Serve as the primary contact for data requests; Ensure consistency in reporting formats. 5. Strategic Decision Support: Translate business requirements into analytical solutions; Provide data-driven insights to senior management; Support strategic planning. 6. Data Governance & Compliance: Develop data governance policies; Ensure compliance with data protection regulations; Promote data quality and ethical practices.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of HND / B.Sc. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative discipline; 3–5 years of experience in Data Analysis or Business Intelligence roles; Prior experience within the Insurance Industry is mandatory.
Educational Background:
Minimum of HND / B.Sc. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or any related quantitative discipline.
Experience:
3–5 years of progressive experience in Data Analysis or Business Intelligence roles; Mandatory: Prior experience within the Insurance Industry.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to present demonstrable data analytics or BI projects, tools and technologies utilized, and quantifiable business impact of delivered solutions.
