Job Description
Job Overview:
Landmark Africa is a leading company specializing in mixed-use development and creating exceptional business, leisure, and lifestyle solutions in Nigeria and beyond. The Senior MEP Engineer will oversee and coordinate all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) aspects of building services projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of MEP systems across development projects. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate MEP systems into building designs. Review HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and energy system designs to ensure compliance with regulations. Provide guidance on energy-efficient and sustainable building solutions. Oversee MEP drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and procurement processes. Supervise installation, site inspections, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems. Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project timelines. Monitor system performance and recommend upgrades or efficiency improvements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Minimum 10 years of MEP engineering experience, with 3+ years in a senior role. Experience with large-scale real estate or hospitality developments. Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other MEP design tools. Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills. Professional engineering certification is an added advantage.
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with significant professional engineering experience.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of MEP engineering experience, with 3+ years in a senior role. Experience with large-scale real estate or hospitality developments.
