Job Overview: The Design & Project Manager will provide studio-based coordination and administrative support across OAM Projects, ensuring that all project communication, documentation, and timelines are effectively managed.
Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain oversight of all active projects and their current status, track project timelines, deliverables, and key milestones, follow up with internal and external teams to ensure progress, monitor project emails and correspondence, respond where appropriate or direct to relevant parties, ensure timely responses and closure of communication loops, review outgoing drawings and documents before issue, ensure alignment with OAM scope, standards, and project stage, maintain organised and up-to-date project folders and records, track revisions and ensure correct versions are in circulation, liaise with architects, consultants, vendors, and contractors, ensure information is properly communicated and understood, flag gaps, inconsistencies, or missing information, schedule and coordinate project meetings, prepare and circulate meeting agendas and minutes, track action points and follow through to completion, maintain and update project programmes, track deadlines and highlight risks or delays, ensure deliverables are issued on time, support the Principal and design team with coordination tasks, assist in ensuring smooth day-to-day studio operations, maintain clarity and structure across all project workflows.
Required Qualifications: Degree in Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Building, or a related field, minimum of 3 years’ experience on design or construction projects, experience working on high-end residential or commercial projects preferred, strong organisational and coordination skills, excellent written and verbal communication, ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously, high attention to detail, proactive, responsive, and solution-oriented mindset.
Educational Background: Degree in Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Building, or a related field
Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience on design or construction projects, experience working on high-end residential or commercial projects preferred
Languages: English
Additional Notes: Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, occasional extended hours as required based on project deadlines, 1–2 Saturdays per month if needed (light, remote)
