Job Description
Job Overview:
The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable Nigeria nationals for the position of Research Associate- Lab Support & Research at the Institute's Headquarters in Ibadan.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties include sample management and traceability, laboratory analyses and protocol implementation, sensory evaluation and panel coordination, sample preparation and external shipment, and data management, reporting, and coordination.
Required Qualifications:
BSC/HND in Food Science, Nutrition, Biochemistry, Agricultural Science, or any other related field, with a minimum of six (6) years' experience or MSc with a minimum of four (4) years' experience in a similar role. Training in sensory analysis, laboratory quality systems, or ISO standards is required.
Educational Background:
BSC/HND or MSc in relevant fields such as Food Science, Nutrition, Biochemistry, or Agricultural Science.
Experience:
Minimum of six (6) years' experience for BSC/HND holders or four (4) years' experience for MSc holders in a similar role.
Languages:
English

The ideal candidate must have technical knowledge of food quality analysis, ability to manage datasets, strong planning skills, and experience in multidisciplinary projects.
