Duties and Responsibilities: The Commercial Manager will oversee strategic revenue goals of the marketplace, coordinate business operations, manage the team's accountabilities and key accounts, and build and maintain strong relationships with partners. The role also analyzes market trends and develops strategies to drive sales growth. The successful candidate will aim to contribute a revenue portfolio of up to $300k while executing strategic partnerships and ensuring business objectives are met effectively. This role plays a crucial part in driving our outbound growth and supporting the Maruchicart trade marketplace. You will be responsible for developing new clientele and driving sales of essential business and project supplies, along with attendant commercial operations.
Required Qualifications: You have strong intrapreneurial drive and commercial street credibility substantiated with a minimum of 4 years of verifiable experience in corporate sales, business development in the trading, or consumer goods. Strong skills in client relationship management, networking, and business development. Experience in sales, marketing, negotiation, and strategic planning. Knowledge of supply chain processes, procurement, and vendor management. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Proficiency in AI, technology tools, data analysis, and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Prior experience in e-commerce, procurement, or related industries is an advantage. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Procurement, Sciences, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of verifiable experience in corporate sales, business development in the trading, or consumer goods.
Languages: English
Additional Notes: You understand how to spot opportunities and capture value. You understand margins, supply chains, and the language of B2B commerce. You are comfortable walking into a Top Bank, a Tech Startup one day, and an Oil & Gas procurement the next day.
