Network Engineer

Job Overview:
Gatech Integrated Services is a Lagos-based IT management and support service provider catering to small and medium-sized businesses across various industries, including oil and gas, finance, education, and others. With over two decades of combined industry experience, the company specializes in hardware, software, web development, data analysis, and networking.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining computer networks. Daily tasks include troubleshooting network issues, ensuring network security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security, optimizing performance, and developing network infrastructure to meet organizational needs. The individual will also collaborate with the IT team to support client projects and ensure seamless network operations.

Required Qualifications:
Proficiency in Network Administration, including managing and maintaining network systems. Strong expertise in Network Engineering, including configuration, implementation, and optimization. Solid troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve network performance issues effectively. Knowledge of Network Security to secure systems against vulnerabilities and threats. Experience in Network Design, including designing and structuring network architecture. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment.

Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:
Relevant industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.
