Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) Engineer
Job Description
Job Overview:
Seeking an experienced MEP Engineer with a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in designing, coordinating, and managing MEP systems in construction projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, review, and supervise MEP systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, lighting, fire protection, water supply, and drainage systems. Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors. Review shop drawings and ensure compliance. Conduct site inspections. Ensure compliance with regulations and standards. Troubleshoot technical issues. Oversee testing and commissioning. Manage project timelines. Provide technical support during project planning and execution.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in MEP design and project execution. Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Proficiency in MEP design software. Good understanding of building codes and standards. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and coordination abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in MEP design and project execution.

Salary Range: N350,000-N450,000
