Job Overview: 2 Hour Learning seeks a leader capable of harmonizing implementation across varied school frameworks, elevating academic leadership standards, and serving as the public advocate for a movement rooted in evidence-based learning science.
Duties and Responsibilities: Designing academic structures that convert learning science into actionable direction for curriculum development, engagement systems, and application architecture. Conducting academic performance reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure school teams maintain alignment, responsibility, and measurable progress. Integrating data analysis, stakeholder conversations, and direct observation into comprehensive academic ecosystem assessments that identify the most impactful obstacles to accelerated learning and recommend concrete solutions. Ensuring strategic coherence through structured planning, continuous feedback, and milestone monitoring to preserve focus on student learning objectives. Serving as the face of 2 Hour Learning in premier forums—from keynote presentations to engagements with national Ministries of Education—to influence global perspectives on education.
Required Qualifications: Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field. At least 7 years in academic or EdTech leadership roles, leading a team of staff/employees. Experience driving learning outcomes for students and upholding student performance standards. Experience applying AI or emerging technologies to improve education. Experience managing academic teams of 50+ people. Experience interacting directly with students, teachers, or school leaders in a professional setting.

Additional Notes: This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year.
