Job Description
Job Overview:
Support the development and execution of enterprise-wide strategy by providing analytical, financial, and market insights. Assist in translating strategic objectives into actionable initiatives to drive growth, profitability, and competitive advantage, while ensuring alignment with risk, regulatory, and performance objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Support development and execution of enterprise and SBU strategies aligned to growth and market positioning. Assist in long-term planning cycles, including 3–5 year strategic forecasts. Analyze macroeconomic and industry trends and support translation into actionable strategies. Develop financial models to support strategic decision-making. Support evaluation of capital allocation across business units and subsidiaries. Assist in integrating risk, return, and macroeconomic scenarios into investment decisions. Conduct market, industry, and competitor analysis across geographies. Provide insights to support competitive positioning and strategic response. Support identification and assessment of new market entry and expansion opportunities. Assist in development of growth and diversification initiatives. Support evaluation of M&A opportunities and strategic partnerships. Assist in deal analysis, valuation, and integration planning. Prepare data-driven insights and reports for management decision-making. Track execution of strategic initiatives and monitor performance impact (ROI, profitability, cost optimization). Support alignment with regulatory requirements, governance frameworks, and rating agency expectations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external advisors on strategy and transformation initiatives. Perform other functions as assigned by the Team Lead, Strategy.

Required Qualifications:
Good understanding of banking operations (local and international). Strategic thinking and financial analysis capability. Strong industry and competitive analysis skills. Business process improvement awareness. Strong reporting and communication skills.

Educational Background:
First degree in Accounting or a related discipline. Relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CFA).

Experience:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in banking, strategy or finance roles.

Additional Notes:
Relevant master’s degree and experience supporting enterprise strategy and transformation initiatives are desirable.
