Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a competent and creative Architect to join our growing design team. The successful candidate will contribute to the full project lifecycle, from concept design through to construction administration, across a portfolio of residential, commercial, and institutional projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop architectural concepts, design schemes, and detailed drawings in line with client briefs and regulatory requirements. Produce working drawings, technical details, and construction documentation to a high professional standard. Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other consultants to ensure design integration. Conduct site visits, supervise contractors, and prepare site reports during construction. Participate in client meetings, design presentations, and project reviews. Support the preparation of feasibility studies, design proposals, and tender documentation. Ensure all deliverables comply with relevant building codes.
Required Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit is essential, with demonstrated experience using BIM workflows on live projects. Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, and visualization tools (Lumion or Enscape) is an added advantage. Familiarity with Microsoft Suite. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building services coordination. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure. Excellent design sensibility, technical detailing, and presentation skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. A collaborative, self-motivated, and detail-oriented approach to work.
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in Architecture from an accredited institution.
Experience:
Three (3) to five (5) years of post-NYSC professional experience in an architectural practice.
