Job Overview: The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth, expanding market share, and building strategic partnerships within the organization. The role involves developing and executing business strategies, conducting market and competitor analysis, and strengthening client relationships within the medical diagnostics and healthcare ecosystem.
Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and implement effective business development and sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Identify new market opportunities and design actionable growth plans aligned with organizational objectives. Conduct detailed market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitor activities. Identify, engage, and build strong relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations. Drive consistent sales performance and ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual targets. Develop and manage strategic partnerships with healthcare providers, HMOs, institutions, and corporate clients. Supervise and mentor junior business development executives. Prepare and submit regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market activities. Ensure all business development activities comply with company policies and ethical standards.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. Master's Degree or professional certifications (CIM, PMP, Sales certifications) will be an added advantage. Minimum of 5 years' experience in Business Development, Sales, or Revenue Growth roles. Strong experience in medical diagnostics, healthcare, wellness, or related industry is required. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
